TERMS OF ACQUISITION

I. THE NATURE OF EACH WORK

Every artifact presented by The Uncarved is singular and irreproducible. No two objects within our curation are identical — each carries the accumulated mark of its material, its maker, and its passage through time. Descriptions, dimensions, and imagery are provided in good faith and represent the object to the best of our authenticating ability. Minor variations in colour, surface, and texture are inherent to the nature of antiquity and handmade craft, and are not grounds for dispute.

II. PRICING & CURRENCY

All prices listed are denominated in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified in writing. The Uncarved reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. Where a price is listed as "Price Upon Request," a private valuation will be issued directly to the prospective collector following a preliminary consultation with our curatorial advisor. Import duties, local taxes, and customs assessments are the sole responsibility of the acquiring party and are not included in the stated price.

III. RIGHT OF CURATION

The Uncarved is a curated institution, not an open marketplace. We reserve the absolute right to decline any inquiry, refuse any acquisition, or withdraw any object from availability at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide explanation. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where the provenance of a collector's intent does not align with the custodial values of this institution. We exist to serve works of lasting significance, and we hold that right with conviction.

IV. TRANSFER OF CUSTODY

Legal title to an object transfers to the collector only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation of acquisition from The Uncarved. Prior to this point, all works remain the property of The Uncarved or its represented estates. The collector assumes full responsibility for the care, insurance, and safekeeping of the object from the moment of documented delivery. We recommend all collectors engage specialist fine art insurers upon acquisition.
