SHIPPING & RETURNS
I. COMPLIMENTARY WHITE-GLOVE DELIVERY
Every acquisition from The Uncarved includes complimentary global white-glove shipping. Each object is prepared by our specialist handlers using archival-grade crating materials, bespoke foam profiles, and climate-controlled transport where required by the nature of the work. We engage only couriers with documented experience in fine art and antiquities logistics. Delivery timelines vary by destination and are communicated individually; we do not promise speed — we promise care.
II. INSURANCE & TRANSIT RESPONSIBILITY
All shipments are fully insured at declared value for the duration of transit. Insurance coverage concludes upon documented delivery and collector signature. The Uncarved strongly encourages collectors to arrange independent specialist fine art insurance to cover the object from the point of receipt onwards. Proof of delivery shall constitute the transfer of transit liability from The Uncarved to the acquiring collector.
III. FINALITY OF ACQUISITION
Due to the irreplaceable and singular nature of every antiquity and handmade work within our curation, all acquisitions are considered final upon delivery. We do not accept returns based on change of preference, perceived aesthetic mismatch, or variations inherent to handcraft. Each collector is encouraged to consult with our advisory team and request additional documentation, condition reports, or private viewings prior to committing to an acquisition.
IV. TRANSIT DAMAGE CLAIMS
Returns are accepted exclusively in the rare and regrettable event of documented transit damage. To initiate a claim, the collector must notify The Uncarved in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of confirmed receipt. The notification must be accompanied by photographic documentation of the damage alongside the original crating and packaging materials in their received state. Claims submitted outside this window or without intact original crating cannot be processed. Upon verification, The Uncarved will arrange the return of the work and issue a full refund or offer an equivalent replacement at our discretion.
