PRIVACY DOSSIER
I. THE SANCTITY OF COLLECTOR DATA
The identity, preferences, and correspondence of every collector who engages with The Uncarved are treated with the same discretion we extend to the objects in our care. Collector data is strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, licence, or otherwise transfer personal information to third parties under any circumstances. Anonymity and privacy are not features we offer — they are obligations we hold.
II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only what is necessary to fulfil the curatorial relationship: name, email address, shipping address, and acquisition history. Information submitted through the Patronage portal — including stated preferences for material, scent, and engraving — is used exclusively for the purpose of bespoke curation and private advisory. No behavioural tracking, data profiling, or advertising retargeting is conducted on this platform.
III. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Collector information is used solely to facilitate inquiries, process acquisitions, arrange shipping logistics, and where consent has been explicitly given, to notify collectors of works and events that align with their known aesthetic disposition. We communicate rarely and only with intention. Each message from The Uncarved is considered and deliberate — we do not send unsolicited correspondence.
IV. DATA RETENTION & REMOVAL
Collector records are retained for the duration of the curatorial relationship. You may request the complete removal of your data at any time by writing to us directly. Upon receiving a verified removal request, all personal records will be purged from our systems within fourteen calendar days, with the exception of legally required transaction records which must be retained for a minimum period as required by applicable law.
